I've heard that Redhat Linux has mysql and mysqldev packages preinstalled, I want to use free software, not commercial, though when I went to download page of Redhat linux, it (enterprise dist. was commercial), I don't know, I only want to have BOTH mysql and libcrypto++ installed on my box, what is your suggestion?

A. redhat is commercial linux, meaning you have to pay for it - and its pretty expensive,
on the other hand, mysql is free and is available for any linux distribution,
just check in the software manager and install it,
you do not need redhat or redhat based systems, any linux will/should have it

A. First you have to track it down, that might be a bit tricky since it is several years out of date.
You can get the latest version of RHEL from http://redhat.com/ and Fedora from http://fedoraproject.org/ - they are the two successors to the old Red Hat. (RHEL is commercial, Fedora is free).
If you really want to get your hands on the obsolete, unmaintained version then try ftp://archive.download.redhat.com/pub/redhat/linux/ - but they haven't fixed security holes in it for years, so I strongly advise you not to.
